Beautiful Sunset Over Downtown Charleston
Don’t like the weather in Charleston? Wait 20 minutes …

The weather in Charleston changes rapidly. During the Summer months we rarely get extended periods of rain. Our typical pattern from April-October is pop-up showers followed by beautiful, calm weather. It is into this calm that we like to sail. However, we bought an enclosed boat, so we can run in almost any weather conditions. Our weather/cancellation policy is:

Trips between Downtown and DI: We run rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, we will delay the departure time in 15 minute increments until the threat of lightning passes. If we have to delay more than 30 minutes, we will cancel the trip and offer refunds or ticket credit at your option.

Harbor Tours: We don’t like to run in the rain. It’s no fun to get soaked or sit inside the cabin while it pours. If there is a pop-up shower or 2, we will still go as scheduled.  If there is lightning in the area, we will delay the departure time in 15 minute increments until the threat of lightning passes. If we have to delay more than 30 minutes, we will cancel the trip and offer refunds or ticket credit at your option.

Cancellation and Refunds: Tickets may be canceled or rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to departure. Tickets may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to departure. Within 24 hours of departure, no refunds or exchanges are allowed. If you contact us and we are able to re-sell the tickets, we will offer you credit for a future trip. Tickets that are unused and have not been rescheduled per the above policy will not retain value for a future trip.
